Privacy
In short: the site has no forms, accounts or payments and does not ask you for any data. Your data only reaches us when you call us, message us on WhatsApp or come to the clinic.

About this translation
This is an English translation of our privacy policy, provided for convenience. If there is any difference between the two, the Romanian version prevails. You can open it with the language switch at the top of the page.
Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is World Dentistry S.R.L., CUI 49145799, J40/21971/2023, with its registered office at Strada Traian Popovici 79–91, ground floor, Sector 3, Bucharest.
You can reach us by phone or WhatsApp at +40 753 313 095 and by email at [email to be completed].
We have not appointed a data protection officer (DPO) [to be confirmed]. For any question about your data, write to us or call us using the details above.
What the site does
The site is static: it only has pages to read. It has no forms, you do not create an account and you do not pay for anything on it. We do not ask you for health information on the site.
The fonts are hosted on the site, not by Google. The map on the site is an OpenStreetMap image saved on the site, so it does not send anything to anyone else.
The interactive Google map only loads if you press “Show the map”. Only then does your browser connect to Google, which may set its own cookies. The details are in the cookie policy.
We do not currently use tools to measure visits. If we turn them on, you will be asked for your consent first, and without your consent nothing loads.
What data we process and why
We only process the data we need to help you and to comply with the law.
| When | What data | Why and on what legal basis | How long we keep it |
|---|---|---|---|
| You call us or message us on WhatsApp | Your phone number, your name, what you tell us about the problem | To tell you what to do and to agree a time. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before treatment (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, for what you tell us about your health, Art. 9(2)(h) GDPR. | [period to be completed] |
| You come to the clinic | Identification data, medical history, the dentist’s findings, X-rays, the treatment given | To treat you and to complete your patient record, as the law requires. Legal basis: Art. 9(2)(h) GDPR (healthcare) and the clinic’s legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). | As long as the law requires for medical records [period to be completed] |
| You pay or ask for an invoice | Your name, company details if applicable, the amount paid | To issue payment documents. Legal basis: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). | As long as accounting law requires |
| You visit the site | Technical data that any server receives: IP address, browser, the page requested, the time | To keep the site working and protected from abuse. The hosting provider keeps this data. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the site running (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). | As set by the hosting provider [to be completed] |
Health data
Data about your health is a special category of data, which the law protects more strictly. We process it only for your treatment and for the clinic’s legal obligations. Only the people at the clinic who need it can see it, and they are bound by professional secrecy.
On the phone or on WhatsApp, tell us only as much as we need to understand what happened. We discuss the details at the clinic, with the dentist.
Who receives your data
We do not sell your data. It reaches others only in the cases below:
- Meta, if you message us on WhatsApp. WhatsApp is operated by Meta, and what you send there is also covered by their privacy policy.
- Google, only if you press “Show the map” or, in the future, if you accept the measurement of visits.
- The site’s hosting provider [to be completed], for the technical data of your visit.
- Providers who help us operate, for example our accountants [list to be completed], only with the data they need.
- The authorities, only when the law requires us to.
Data processed outside Europe
Meta and Google may also process data outside the European Economic Area, for example in the United States. They are responsible for the safeguards for these transfers, under their own policies.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right:
- to find out what data we hold about you and to receive a copy (right of access);
- to ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data (rectification);
- to ask us to delete your data when we no longer have a legal reason to keep it (erasure);
- to ask us to use your data only within certain limits, for example while we look into a complaint (restriction);
- to receive the data you gave us in a format you can take elsewhere (portability);
- to object to processing based on our legitimate interest (objection);
- to lodge a complaint with the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP), at www.dataprotection.ro.
How to exercise your rights
Write to us at [email to be completed], call us on +40 753 313 095 or tell us at the clinic. We reply within one month at most. So that we do not give your data to someone else, we may ask you to confirm who you are.
Some data we cannot delete on request: we keep the patient record and payment documents for as long as the law requires.
If anything changes
When we change the way we use data, we update this page and the date at the top.
