Frequently asked questions
Short answers to what people ask us on the phone. If you cannot find what you are looking for, call us: the phone is answered 24/7.

Hours and emergencies
Can I come in without calling first?
Please call before you set off. During opening hours we are at the clinic, and a call helps us see you sooner. Outside opening hours there is not always a dentist at the clinic, so a trip without calling may be wasted: the on-call dentist comes in on request.
What happens if I call at night?
We answer. You tell us what happened and we tell you whether you need to come in now or can wait until opening hours. If you need treatment, the on-call dentist comes in and we agree a time together.
What are the clinic’s opening hours?
Monday–Friday, 12:00–20:00 in winter time and 10:00–18:00 in summer time. The phone is answered 24/7.
Can I come in on Saturday or Sunday?
At weekends the on-call dentist comes in on request. Call us and we will tell you when you can come and what it costs.
What counts as a real emergency?
Swelling that is getting bigger, pain that does not ease with your usual painkiller, bleeding that has not stopped after 20 minutes of pressure, a tooth knocked out in an accident, or a fever together with toothache. A lost filling with no pain can wait for an appointment. See all emergencies.
When should I call 112 instead of a dentist?
When the swelling makes it hard to breathe or swallow, when the bleeding will not stop, after a hard blow to the head or face, or when you have a high fever and the swelling spreads towards your eye or neck. In those cases, call 112 or go to a hospital A&E (UPU) first.
Price and payment
How much does an emergency visit cost?
A consultation is from 150 lei. Treatment depends on what the dentist finds: nerve removal is from 350 lei, an extraction from 500 and a filling from 400. You know the price before we start. See all prices.
What does the price include?
Everything to do with the treatment. The anaesthetic is included, and if you have the treatment at the same visit, you do not pay for the consultation.
Does it cost more outside opening hours?
It may cost more, because the on-call dentist comes in specially. We tell you the amount on the phone, before you set off for the clinic.
Can I pay by card?
Ask us on the phone when we agree the time and we will tell you how you can pay, so there are no surprises at the clinic.
Is treatment covered by CNAS, the Romanian national health insurance?
Ask us on the phone before your appointment and we will tell you what applies to your treatment.
Can I get an invoice in my company’s name?
Yes. Tell us on the phone or at reception that you want a company invoice and bring your company details with you.
Treatment
Will the pain go away after the first visit?
Often, yes. In an emergency, the first aim is to relieve the pain and deal with its cause. The dentist tells you at the consultation, after seeing the tooth, what can be done at the same visit and whether you need to come back.
Do you see children?
Call us and tell us the child’s age and what happened. We will tell you on the phone whether we can help or whether it is better to go to a children’s dental clinic.
Do you speak English?
We see patients from other countries too. Call us and we will tell you whether the dentist at your appointment time speaks your language.
